Welcome WFGA Members

Hello WFGA Members and welcome to our BLOG. This is a place where we can communicate and post our ideas and thoughts about how to make the WFGA the best online TW website. At the present time, after numerous beta tests and comments about TW2010, It doesn't look as though that version will be in our near future. TW2008 will still be used in the up coming season. New courses are still being released each week so there will be plenty to go around with the new tournaments. If you have any ideas you would like to present to us, please feel free to post them on our BLOG. Thanks and see you all on the first tee..........

  1. I think that it is a good idea to choose TW08 for the whole of the 2009/2010 season. I have one worry though. Will EA withdraw support for TW08 before the end of the season and force people to move over to TWO? What will we do then?

  2. It's a gr8 idea, but how long do you think that EA is going to leave their servers up after they release 2010. I have used this word b4 'HAMACHI' & I think that it may be our only way to play in the near future. I don't see EA being 'good sports' and letting us play online for free.. It would be counter-pr0ductive to their spending the last 2 years developing the on-line browser based game.. 2010

  3. I think ESPN has a stake in the survival of the current website. They may have a say in whether they continue or not. I know it's been cheap advertising for them. Initially, we used to have to pay to play on EASO. ESPN started to pick up the fees as a form of advertising. Hopefully, they'll want that to continue. However, if 2010 levels the playing field with their software and eliminates players using different advantages such as "Speedgear", etc., then I'm all for 2010 online.
